Make Money On Pinterest!
In the game of Affiliate Marketing, lots of people use Social Media to get their links out to a large audience.
Trouble is, it seems like 90% of them focus all of their efforts on Facebook, Google + and Twitter. There are other ways to make money online, and Pinterest is like the Sleeping Giant amongst them.
A quick look through people's Boards and you'll see that they post Shoes, Electronics and Gadgets, Home Decor and a ton of other things. All without monetizing any of it.
This presents a great opportunity for Affiliate Marketers, as you can post all of the same things (and more), the only difference being when someone buys a product you've posted, you'll get a commission.
An added benefit of this is that when you post products on your board, you'll look exactly like anyone else on Pinterest.
So why in the hell not?
I have a rule that has served me well. I'll upload and fill two boards with original content, and the third will be Affiliate Links. This helps Affiliate Marketers to blend in with the rest of the crowd.
So how does it work?
You're not going to make any money unless you can get a following, and the good news is that getting one isn't difficult.
Above is a Screen-Cap of my Pinterest page. You can see that I've been able to get a respectable amount of followers, but what if I told you I did this in less than two weeks?
I didn't use any apps, or software because you don't have to. All that you have to do to get a Pinterest following is to find a big, niche related page and follow the people who are following it.
You want to build a decent sized profile with pins before you start fishing for followers. I'd recommend at least 6 boards, all with a few pins. A good title accompanied by an eye-catching picture and you're on your way.
You can also use your Pinterest to link people to your site, a clickable link can be inserted into the header of your board.
Making Affiliate Sales, drawing traffic to your Site and getting your name out there are all great things; but it doesn't stop there.
Each time you post a pin, you can link it to your Website or Blog. When a person re-pins your pin, you have now created a Back Link that will help you rank in Google.
If you follow the steps I've shown you in this article, you can get massive amounts of followers, traffic to your site, and potentially a lot of sales!
Cheers,
